Douro Tinto, Quinta do Romeu 2019

Great wine. Nose - cherry, oak, hints of tobacco. Over the palate - cherry, oak, black currant, touch of vanilla, pepper and spices on the finish. Well balanced, nice long finish.

 Lots of ripe fruit with hints of tobacco and chocolate with high percentage of cocoa. High level of sweetnes (of course), but with a pleasant acidity that accentuates a round and concentrated body. The finish is medium long and quite pleasant, again with ripe and spicy notes.
