DESCRIPTION

Full, dark red. Very ripe aromas of black cherry, boysenberry and licorice enlivened by a stony quality. At once silky-smooth and firm on the palate, showing a medicinal reserve and modest sweetness to its dark fruit and bitter chocolate flavors.
This concentrated, structured village blend is sappy but backward today; its building tannins will require at least a couple years of bottle aging. (Vinous)
