Dominique Laurent developed his taste for only the finest of flavors as the son of a French pastry chef. While apprenticing with his father, he began to blend his appreciation of food with fine wine and opened a small wine shop in Nuits-Saint-Georges. It did not take long for this business to evolve into a unique, full-time negociant business.
Dominique selects exclusively the finest appellations and old vine cuvees from the top producers in Burgundy, regardless of price. Laurent believes that wines must find their own equilibrium, so instead of following a given recipe, he tastes each wine as it evolves and makes adjustments according to each vintage and appellation.
