This deep-violet wine has a nose of blackberry, cassis and caramel. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry, mocha and baking spices are set into durable tannins that coat the tongue and gums. Coming from an area with clay soil with a limestone base, this bottle of goodness is red-fruited, and very juicy with a medium body that shows a balance of tannins and acidity, finishing with notes of raspberry and a hint of toast.
