Domaine Weinbach, also known as Clos des Capucins, is not only one of the best domains in Alsace, the refined and concentrated white wines are even among the best in the world. Grapes are picked by hand, with very strict selection for the perfect ripeness.
In the glass, the wine is clear pale straw yellow with a touch of green in the color. In the nose intense aromas of apricot, undergrowth, brioche and almonds. In the taste palette candied yellow fruit, roasted hazelnuts, minerals, something of residual sweetness and a hint of botrytis. A finish that is full, complex and accompanied by nervous acids.
