Domaine Maestracci Clos Reginu 2018

A red Corsican blend coming from younger vines planted in the northwest of the island on a combination of clay, granite and sand-based soils. This is Corsica's answer to Beaujolais as the wine is fresh, lithe, accessible and unoaked. The estate was founded in 1981.

It is a dark red color with a purple hue. On the nose, its a mixture of red fruit and hay aromas along with hints of leather. On the palate, it is smooth and has flavors of cherry, redcurrant, and licorice.
