Domaine Lefief Bourgeuil 2014

Cab Franc, earthy and more delightful than your run of the mill day to day Bordeaux. Starts with a great nose of cedar wood and pine, dried raspberries and lavender. Solid cherry pepper cola on the palate, subtle tannins. 

Dry red fruit palate with aromas of spice and earth. Smooth tannins with a soft finish. Fairly thin easy drinking Cabernet franc. Dry with low acidity and mild fruit flavours, red currant, red cherry and cranberry. Finish is very short.Good wine.
