Domaine Faiveley Bienvenues Batard Montrachet 2013

Bright pale yellow. More obviously ripe on the nose than the Bienvenues, offering scents of peach and clove. Dense, sweet and creamy--in fact almost voluptuous for a young 2013 but with a firm edge to the powerful, mounting apple and spice flavors. Boasts lovely sappy intensity and lemony lift on the back end.

This has a markedly higher pH than the Bienvenues.
