Domaine du Gros' Nore Bandol Cuvee Antoinette 2010

This comes from a specific site, and is a benchmark of the region. There’s texture, freshness and minerality alongside a volume and complexity that grows in the mouth. 2010 was a great vintage, and this is already delicious. But it will go on for decades.

Dark ruby red. Rich, meaty bouquet of dark plum, blackberry, rosemary, mocha and rough leather. Fleshy palate of black pepper, red meat, green herbs, anis, smokey earth and iron. Powerful tannins and intense acidity with enough fruit to keep its strenght in balance. Be warned, this is not for fruits forward wine lovers. Untamed but accessible now, will become less hostile and softer with time. 95% Mourvédre proves this grape is capable to more than GSM and rosé.
