DESCRIPTION

96 Points Tim Atkins This has a pronounced roasted, fumée nose with smoked meat, barbecue spices and crushed graphite. Underneath it, there are pomegranates and blackberries aplenty. Zingy acidity, sappy tannins and excellent energy keep this feeling lively and poised. A large portion of their holdings are in the process of being replanted, but the remaining vines still average an admirable 60 years.
