Made in a Georgian amphora, this Outre Terre cuvee is Thierry Germain's little UFO. Ample and dense on the palate, a nice bitterness develops on the finish, bringing freshness to this Saumur-Champigny. Attention, micro-production of 800 bottles for the world.
This vintage's savory notes of cedar bark and juniper mellow into velvety fruit with a touch of bitter orange. Earthy dishes such as butter beans and wild mushrooms with plenty of garlic and herbs will coax out the wine's especially lush qualities.
