DESCRIPTION

This is a red wine produced by Thierry Germain of Domaine des Roches Neuves in Saumur, in the Loire Valley. The grapes come from very old, free-range vines aged in oak barrels for about 18 months. The nose is rich with hints of undergrowth, with earthy notes of humus and herbaceousness, while on the palate it is very refined with silky tannin. Ideal with truffles.

Complex nosewith floral tones and practically a parade of red and black fruits. Hints of earth, humus and various types of pepper. Herbaceous and Mineral.Refined, mineral and slender. The tannin is velvety, the flavour important, the finish very long.
