Domaine de L'Olivier Chardonnay 2015 |
The Chardonnay from Domaine de l'Olivier is a very clean example of the pure varietal characteristics. Is it fruity, fresh, clean, with a lot of finesse, a good acidity and a touch of oak wood. Serve fresh in apertif, with seafood or with salmon pie.
Though the wine sees virtually no oak, it is quite textured, with layers and layers of apple, pear and peach cream fruit braced by nice minerality with just a faint touch of nuttiness.

Good Wine Poor Communication
Purchasing experience poor as after order was confirmed and 2 weeks later (no wine) called n told it is on order to warehouse and they are awaiting delivery. Why was that not communicated when order was placed? Poor communication that could easily be corrected. Makes me wonder why I have to point this out to WC.com.
Excellent everyday whie
This wine is a find. It is crisp, refreshing in the palate. It’s not the buttery, cloying taste one get’s from chardonnay. A good find
Summer!
Very happy with L’Olivier Chardonnay as our go to house wine. Not over Oaked, light refreshing and reasonably priced.
Affordable, yet elegant
This wine is light, flavorful and perfect for any event from a wedding to a picnic and we've served it for both! A great go-to for many years.
Chardonnay
A hint of oak but still a little too much for me. A pleasant wine when served cool.
