GRAPES: 30% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 15% Carignan, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre
MANUFACTURING: THE field is located in the Grès Biscarelle district of ORANGE halfway between the city of Princes and the famous village of Chateauneuf du Pape. The vineyard extends over 22 hectares of vineyards and 2 different appellations: Côtes du Rhône: 17 hectares of vineyards that have between forty eighty years. And of course, Châteauneuf du Pape: 5 hectares (with some century-old plots) located on the northern part of the appellation.
Older vines 40-70 years
Lustrous, handsome & dark. The nose is a bundle of crunchy fruit, dark cherries, thyme, licorice and soft flowers, delivered with liberty. The palate presents rolling grass richness and supple, fine tannins. It has a good, friendly texture. Its black cherry juice runs freely, it’s expressive & engaging.
