Domaine de Beaumière is located in the Provence part of the Drôme, in the village of Bouchet that once belonged to the Princes of Orange and was later bought in the XIVth century by nuns from a Cistercian Abbey. It is in this rural village, essentially turned toward viticulture, that Claude Charpentier who represents the third generation and is heir to a long tradition of winemaking manages the Domaine. He endeavors to combine ancestral tradition with the more recent approach of sustainable agriculture aiming to preserve the environment and produce the very best her terroir has to offer. Grenache 80% and Syrah 20%. Deep garnet red color with purple hues. Delicate nose yielding aromas of red berries and violets. The mouthfeel is supple and elegant offering a smooth and velvety texture that is remarkably well-balanced.

Not yet tasted
This is a 2015.. Bought for storage until 2021 at the earliest. I have high expectations, but cannot rate this wine at this time.

it's a very good wine
I am not a big fan of French wine but this one is really good..great flavor and very smooth..

Haven’t tried it yet
It looks lovely, but I haven’t tried it yet. Shipping was slow, but we are in the middle of a plague. All things considered, it’s nice to have what I hope is a good wine in the cabinet.

Very Pleased
We found this smoother than many a Cotes du Rohne and quite enjoyable. It is somewhat light as one should expect from the blend of grapes. Certainly a good value.
