The Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes by Domaine Daniel Pollier is matured in barriques; a quarter of the barrels are new; the rest is in second or third use. This wine is especially concentrated; it shows scents like hazelnuts; floral notes; white and yellow fruits; and a lovely oak influence that supports the fruit; but does not dominate it. An alternative to the rather expensive white wines of the Côte d'Or.
