Domaine Coursodon Saint Joseph L'Olivaie 2014

This is perhaps the most balanced wine in the line regarding early pleasure and intellect. The darker fruit aspects of the wine are polished out and remain equal to the savouriness of the wine. It immediately expresses savory dark chocolate, forest floor, bramble, iodine, hot iron and salty meat.

After much aeration, the wine begins to show its range of garrique and higher-toned red fruits that have been reserved only for the patient drinker. L’Olivaie happens to be my favorite wine in the line to drink young.
