DESCRIPTION

This shows so much bright, grapey fruit with citrus undertones. Granite and ash undertones. Medium to full body. Vivid acidity and focus.  The fruit is ripe and brisk, the tannins salty and dry. Give it a year or two for the tannins to relent and the complexity of the wine to show. 

This cru Beaujolais comes from a granite hillside vineyard with sixty-year-old vines. It has beautiful aromas, high-toned fruit, and finesse along with floral and spice notes – a true Chignard classic.
