The delicate bouquet occasionally denotes hints of honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied. This wine can be kept for 3 to 4 years before drinking. Ideal with fish and grilled poultry.
Defaix's Chablis Vieilles Vignes is also showing well, revealing a youthfully reserved bouquet of citrus oil, fresh pear, almond paste and clear honey, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and vibrant palate that's nicely concentrated and structured to reward some bottle age.
