District 7 Sauvignon Blanc 2017

As in previous vintages, our 2017 Sauvignon Blanc features fruit from cold-and warm-climate vineyard sites. This allows us to create a wine that is balanced, complex and absolutely delicious. The cold-climate lots impart dried herbs and brisk acidity.

The warm-climate lots add melons, peaches, richness and viscosity. The winter was wet, the spring was mild and the bulk of the summer was clear and dry. Record-breaking heat in early September accelerated harvest, but in the end the fruit was ripe and avorful with good acidity.
