Ripe cherry red, with an intense crimson rim and deeply pigmented. Subtle reduction notes reminiscent of ripe blackberry jam. Combined with delicate toasty touches that mingle perfectly with a smooth chocolaty background and pleasant balsamic notes. The wine has a strong attack, flavorful, full-bodied with excellent structure. Mature, mellow, quality tannins that provide opulence and volume reaching the entire palate. Loaded with ripe fruit mid-palate, integrated with the presence of exquisite wood. Persistent finish, with hints of cherry liqueur.
A true farm-to-table wine, the 2013 Dehesa La Granja shows ripe wild-cherry red color with an intense maroon rim and is well-structured, potent, velvety, and fleshy wine in the mouth, boasting powerful, rounded tannins. It has subtle hints of ripe red berries with smooth balsamic notes with traces of smoky, toasted elements.
