DESCRIPTION
Pale straw in the glass, this wine has aromas of lime and green pepper. It is savory at first sip, with strong chopped green herb notes, but then fruit flavors fills the palate, notably mango and guava that lead into a bold grapefruit finish.
This is classic fume style wine most suited to the Mediterranean climate. The wine is light with soft acitiy combining the fruity aromas of citrus and guava together with a subtle toasty oak character.
Dalton Fume Blanc is fermented with wild yeast in oak casks and allowed to age for a further four months in barrel. The wine is supple and fruity, with notes of citrus and pineapples subtly balanced with a rich and smoky character from the barrel.
