Spicy, pepper-spiked strawberry fruit bouquet. Medium-bodied on the palate and just bursting with sweet, ripe black cherry and plummy fruit flavors with echoes of the black pepper and clove notes in the nose. Nice, rounded mouthfeel with silky tannins.
Beautiful ruby appearance, with blackberry and pepper notes. Tannins and fruit marry well for a soft finish. This wine pairs well with sharp cheddar cheese and hazelnuts. Also try it along with roast lamb, veal marsala, or grilled salmon.
