This is an orange wine made from 100% Vital, local cousin of Malvasia from 25 year old organic vines just north of Lisbon, not far from the Atlantic coast.
The grapes spend 14 days on the skins before getting pressed off to old Burgundy barrels for the better part of a year. Smoky marmalade and lemon pith with a lean mineral finish.
