A selection of fruit from vines located in the eastern part of the village, not far from the family cellars, in lieu-dit ‘Mordeloup.’ Soils mostly clay-based. Hand-harvested. Destemmed; cold maceration for one week; fermented on indigenous yeasts in open-top wooden tanks.
Vincent Dureuil-Janthial is one of the most underappreciated producers in all of Burgundy. Along with concentrated whites, Vincent makes fresh, elegant reds like this one. It's bright, elegant, and refreshing enough to enjoy at outdoor get-togethers all summer long.
