THE Chard has a lovely golden straw color with notes of green apple, white lemon blossoms and zesty lemon with sweet oak scents. The palate is richly textured with balanced acidity and flavors of poached pear, vanilla bean, and tangerine with a soft creamy finish.
The grapes for THE Chard were hand-harvested in West Lodi, an AVA known to benfit from the cooling Delta influence. The 2016 harvest provided balanced yields of quality fruit, allowing us to make a lively and classic Chardonnay.
