Wine Advocate 92 points - The 2012 Five is the latest release from the estate. It is a blend of 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Petit Verdot, 21% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot and 10% Malbec. It was the first vintage under Justin Van Wyk, who implemented less new oak in recent years, this particular vintage matured under 78%. It was also the latest vintage picked at the estate, commencing on March 27 for the red. It has a dense, tightly wound bouquet with raspberry, boysenberry, leather and incense aromas that seem to gain intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe tannin, a little graininess to the texture with a structured, slightly tarry, bell pepper finish..Neal Martin, April/2017

A cool maritime climate and strict crop control results in perfectly ripened grapes that are hand harvested, meticulously sorted and batch vinified.
