2018 Enticing aromas of leather, fig and date, on the palate the tannins are silky, the fruit fine and floral, shot with violet, salt, orange peel and spice. 13%
The grapes are picked by hand in the second week of October, the yields are a tiny 35 hl/ha*. The bunches are de-stemmed and crushed before being fermented without temperature control, using wild yeasts in concrete tanks, with pumping over* and delestages*. The wine is aged for 2 years in botti grande* (6000 litre). The wine is then blended and ageing for another few months in concrete tanks before being bottled without filtration.
