Churchill's Port Vintage 2014
Youthful and far too young to consume this beautiful wine already shows vibrant plum, anise and blackberry aromas and flavors. As expected with a vintage port only one year in bottle the alcohol and sweetness are not yet fully integrated but the great balance and long finish indicate a wonderful life ahead for this wine.
Grapes were picked before the rain and were intense flavors and aromas. Drinking well already, but will age well. Rich mouth feel. One of the few houses to declare a vintage in 2014, as they picked before the rains hit.
Profound vintage serving up candied cherries, sleek raspberry and chocolate, damp tobacco and roasted mocha notes. Startling freshness, very moreish. Top notch from Oxford King's College cellar.
