Chateau Rauzan-Gassies Margaux 2015

Showing the richness of the vintage behind firm tannins, this wine is tough and solid at the moment although that will change as it matures. The hint of bitter over-extraction is the sole blemish on a wine that otherwise highlights the many improvements at this estate. 

Clear deep purple appearance. Clean pronounced blackberry. Decanted. Dry, medium acidity, high tannin full bodied pronounced black fruit flavours, blackcurrant and blackberries, fresh mushroom plays a role with cedar too. Delicious, complex and great with steak. A very good quality wine.
