Chateau Potensac Medoc 2000

Medium ruby. Inky aromas of cassis, boysenberry, black cherry and violet. Muscular and powerful, but with noteworthy vivacity and clarity of flavor. Distinctly mentholated aspect. Finishes with ripe tannins that are unusually supple for Potensac.

Firm and well-done, with focused berry and mineral character throughout. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine and sleek tannins and a long, racy finish. Classic cassis/cedar Medoc bouquet, quite dry and restrained. Fine fruit and good elegant wine, shows elegance, depth and finesse.
