Chateau Pape Clement

Deeply pigmented ruby-red color that holds well to the rim & is almost opaque. The Dark-fruit aromas are quite closed but show a distinct ripeness as they open. The palate is rich, intense & plumy with vivid cedary oak overlaying it & tempering the rich, ripe, rounded fruit.

Tannins are silky smooth, giving very little grip. Alcohol is quite well balanced & the length is OK.
