Chateau Maucaillou

Deep, dark & purple-red in color, but not opaque. On the nose ripe, dark-fruit aromas are a touch meaty & display a toasty edge. Cassis fruit on the palate is layered with toasty oak. The wine is of mid-weight & fine tannins add grip, drying out the mid-palate.

The wine has well balanced alcohol & fresh acidity that lifts the black-fruit on the finish, making it juicy & giving it a reasonable length.
