Chateau Lynch Bages

Deep, dark, almost opaque ruby-red in color - the color holds well to a purple-tinted rim. The nose is a slightly closed dark fruit with coffee notes. In contract the palate shows lively blackcurrant overlaid by coffee & graphite - plentiful, fine, firm tannins are supported by excellent fresh acidity.

Alcohol adds a touch of warmth. on the finish jammy black-fruit emerges from behind the firm cedary tannins. The flavors last very well.
