Almost exposed to the sea, Saint Estephe has the most rough but also the most charismatic character and nose of the left bank wines. Although too young this Cru Bourgois is very much after my fancy! 60%Merlot.

Very dense nose, amarena-cherries, sweet cassis, tar and blonde tabacco, malt and portwine. Med bodied on the palate, extremely fine, completely polished tannins without any green elements, as soft as butter.
