Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion

Deep, dark, purple-red color is not quite opaque but keeps its color very well to the rim. The palate starts gently with smooth, ripe red-fruit, then more plumy ripeness kicks in.

There is good acidity which counterpoints very fine tannins with a cassis & graphite nature. There is a rich core of fruit where ripe blackcurrant & black plum fruit is overlaid by cedar & graphite, Alcohol is balanced, allowing the flavors to continue on a long finish.
