Chateau La Conseillante

Deep, dark ruby, not quite opaque, with garnet hints at the rim. Lovely ripe dried frits "Christmas cake" comprise the nose. The palate is concentrated, showing over-ripe black fruit at first, before savory, dark-olive notes.

The texture is plush with smooth tannins. Balanced acid & alcohol ensure nice length and lovely freshness.
