90 Points Vinous The 2020 Haut-Surget is much better than the recently tasted 2018. There's much more freshness on the well-delineated nose, and the palate is well balanced, with graphite-infused black fruit, nice focus and a dab of black pepper on the finish. Fine.

90 Points Jeb Dunnuck The 2020 Château Haut-Surget is a ripe, up-front, slightly rustic, yet satisfying Right Bank that has lots of chocolaty red and black fruits, some leather and cedary notes, medium body, and savory tannins. It's a rock-solid, enjoyable, well-made wine to drink over the coming 7-8 years or so.
