Chateau Haut-Brion

Medium to deep, dark purple-ruby. The aromas show hints of red & black berries over graphite. The palate combines cassis & graphite flavors with black plum/prune notes - there are cedary hints. The acidity is lovely & fresh.

Fine tannins are smooth with a graphite nature but give some cedary/crunchy grip to the finish, without being astringent. Balanced alcohol adds some warmth to the finish & fresh acidity keeps it long & lively.
