From a discontinued label and a property owned by the esteemed Chateau Lynche-Bages, I truly enjoyed sharing this with close friends. From structure has served it well over time, and dry red fruit continues to linger on a garnet colored body that pales at the rim. Autumnal flavors, delicate earthy notes, and subtle leather define it. Truly a fun experience! Cheers friends!
GOOD VINTAGE MY LOVE! At the moment I am so in love with the cold-tempered reds from Bordeaux and Germany. Even more when they are perfectly aged like this one!
Freshly crushed black pepper pairs to meaty and smokey notes in the nose. Intense herbal nuances. Salty notes and some fruit. Lots of rose hips. Matchsticks.
Quite light-bodied at the palate with delicious saltiness and earthiness. Some black pepper returns. Rose hips and dried cherries.
