2015 was a great vintage for chateau greys. This Medoc shows a good fruit profile on the nose with hints of oak, spices, and violets
Very velvety texture, moderate tannins, a high acidity balanced by the ripe forest fruit like blackberries, cassis, black plums
It has a great length
For sure no Charlatan, just jive to the beat of this Bordeaux. Merlot is in the lead with plummy clayish berries and date. Cab Sauv with a minor contribution of Cab Fr adds vibrant cassis. Petit Verdot adds erm.... color maybe? Oak barrel sawdust and some mint on the nose. Tannins of wild dusty nature. Without hesitation a genuine case of ooh la la la c'est Magnifique!
Jam, jelly, berries in the nose. Medium body, Faint tannins, short taste. Oak cigar and cedar. Stronger than most comparable wines
