Darkly pigmented ruby-red color with vivid purple at the rim. Pure blackcurrant fruit aromas on the nose are restrained with slight leafy hints. Cassis fruit on the mid-palate is overlaid by graphite & toasty oak. Acidity is fresh - tannins are plentiful, fine & quite drying.
Alcohol is balanced & attractive acidity gives the blackcurrant fruit on the finish good freshness.
