Chateau Fuisse Saint-Veran 2012

This full-bodied, ripe and generous wine is already open for drinking. It has rich green and white fruits, sliced pear and quince with a topping of lime juice. Toast gives a broader character. 

One of the few villages in Burgundy's Mâcon region that has the right to its own appellation. The wines of Saint-Veran, like this classic example, have an extra degree of richness and ripeness that sets them apart.

Citrus and stone, generous but crisp. Pair Mâconnais whites with richly textured, but uncomplicated flavors. Try fettuccine tossed in a lemon cream sauce, a perfect lobster roll or garlic-roasted chicken.
