91 Points Vinous The 2022 Moulin-à-Vent has a sapid, marine- tinged bouquet, hints of shucked oyster shell infusing the dark berry fruit. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly furry tannins, spicier than the Morgon, with a little more edginess and pepperiness on the finish. Very fine.
90 Points Wine Spectator Round and mouthcoating, with a tug of tar and earth behind red currant and wild herbs. Hints of mocha and espresso add to the depth, with mesquite smoke hovering throughout. There's nice length to the salty close.
90 Points Wine Advocate The 2022 Moulin-à-Vent unfolds with aromas of cassis, stewed blackberries, violet petals, candied peel and subtle undertones of sandalwood. The medium to full-bodied palate presents a dark core of fruit built around chalky tannins that steadily intensify, concluding with a youthfully grippy finish. Will the tannins win out?
