Chateau de la Font du Loup 'Puy Rolland' CdP Rouge 2019

The smaller production 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape Puy Rolland is all Grenache from sandy soils raised in foudre. It's slightly lighter hued compared to the other cuvées and offers a classic perfume of wild strawberries, iodine, violets, and Provençal spice.

Medium to full-bodied on the palate, this is Grenache at its most feminine and elegant, with light tannins, a seamless, elegant texture, and outstanding length. It's going to benefit from just 2-3 years of bottle age but should evolve for 15 years on its balance, harmony, and purity.
