Chateau Dassault Saint-Emilion 2018 |
The nose is aromatic, fresh and offers concentration (full of elegance), a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful definition and power (full of finesse). It reveals notes of bright Boysen berry, violet, cassis, small notes of lilac associated with touches of juicy violet plum, raspberry as well as fine hints of graphite/incense, chocolate, nutmeg, cardamom, a very discreet hint of tobacco and Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant, beautifully defined and offers a beautiful bright/precise fruit, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse of the structure as well as density (in finesse).
On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy/fresh purple plum, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of lilac, fresh cornflower as well as hints of bright blueberry, cherry, a hint of liquorice, mocha, camphor, chocolate, a subtle hint of crushed cardamom, hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of tobacco. Good length. Tannins are elegant, fine and precise. A hint of caramelized hint on the persistence. A beautiful powerful, balanced, on the fruit and full of finesse wine.

Horrible Service
They sat on my order for a week before beginning the shipping process. Three weeks to receive a product is too long.
