Chateau Cantemerle Haut-Medoc 2016

This 2016 Cantemerle is a distinctly class act. The red and black fruit on the front of the palate has a rare level of detail and purity for this quality level. As always with Cantemerle, the oak framework is present, but agreeably sweet and fine.

There is a depth to the fruit and tension to the structure, which makes this all the more impressive and enjoyable. When Cantemerle is on form like this, it is one of the most consistent and well-loved Clarets at its price-point.
