Château Barrabaque is a small 9-hectare property located on the right bank of the Gironde River in Canon-Fronsac just west of Pomerol. Barrabaque's vines are located on south-facing slopes, planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The production itself uses an absolute minimum of chemicals and Chateau Barrabaque has a strong focus on protecting the environment.
The wine is a great companion for both red and light meats as well as cheese. It can be safely stored for a few years is typically the drinking mode is approx. 6-10 years after the harvest year. Reserved, dark fruit aroma and flavor, fine, ripe tannins and freshness as well.
