A paler crimson colour. Attractive fresh and floral, a real Burgundian pinot says Joseph, though it is also rather lean and green on the palate. Fingers crossed that what we see on the bouquet will dominate, in which case add a third star.
Brick red colour, gentle soft cherry and red fruits, a hint of spiced oak, forward drinking in style, a pure, easy Pinot.
