• Practicing Organic • 100% Chardonnay • Clones: 4, Dijon 95 + 96, and Curtis clone • Sourced from Burnside, Piner, Hall Road, Casa Seca, Tidal Break Vineyards (Russian River Valley AVA) • All sites are situated 10-15 miles from the coast • Gravelly loam and sandstone soils • Hand-harvested • Berries were de-stemmed and gently crushed before going to press • All lots fermented on wild yeasts and aged separately for 10 months in 600L neutral oak puncheons • Racked off the lees to steel for an additional 6 months • Additional 6 months aging in stainless steel when racked off the lees • A slow malolactic fermentation completed • 620 cases produced • 13.6% abv
